Roark1- Excellent choice! But before that, we still need a Concert number. I was gonna lean toward "Rhapsody in Blue" but I don't want to see the show too Madison heavy.

And BTW, I see you marched '75 Madison Scouts. My shako is off to you, sir!!! (My 2nd favorite show ever! ....after '74 Muchachos...)

Sorry about this, but I have been listening to the Skyliners kill Slaughter On 10th Avenue (and I mean in a good way!) for over 40 years and I would love to go OTL with those kind of killer licks coming out of my horn! Of course, there is virtually nobody who ever played that great tune from On Your Toes originally penned by Richard Rogers and that includes:

The Osmond Cadets way back in 1950,

Saint Kevin's Emerald Knights

Argonne Rebels

1962 Saint Kevin's Emerald Knights

1965 Eau Claire Boys

1968 St. George's Olympians

1970 Blessed Sacrament Golden Knights

1974 & 75 & 82 & 89 Madison Scouts

1979 Krescendos

1980 & 81 Americanos

1983 US Air Force Academy

SENIORS

1958 Outlaws

1960, 62, 65, 66, 70, 71, 72, 73, 80, 81, 85, 95, New York Skyliners

1963 Keystoners

1965 Albion Grenadiers

1966 Albion Grenadiers

1998 Erie Thunderbirds MiniCorps

2000 The Brigadiers

2005, 06, 07 New York Skyliners Alumni

Probably a lot more but those are the ones I've got in my collection.

So I'm thinking a great OTL choice.

Oh yeah, I forgot about The Cavies - they played Slaughter a couple of times?

May I suggest old school When Johnny Comes Marching Home ala Anaheim Kingsmen?
