Jimbalaya
wow......that shot of Archie was an old one. It had to be sometime in the 1960's, because that's a 50-star American Flag they're carrying. Also, looks like JFK Stadium in Bridgeport, which opened in '65, I believe. cabalumnidrummer
" I love the ticket prices.... three dollars for a reserved seat. Times, indeed, have changed! Fran" They sure have. Don't forget Fran, gas was about 25 cents a gallon, the George Washington Bridge was only a 50 cent toll, and Fleetwood records sold for $3 or $4 at the shows! Good times, but we didn't realize how good.

Good times, but we didn't realize how good. Yeah, and pizza was 20 cents a slice. I just paid $3.05 with the tax. It's an outrage....burp!!! I think you can still get a hot dog from the corner cart for a buck though. How much is that GWB toll now dare I ask? And Fran, I'll bet you have to take out a second mortgage to use that Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel. gsksun4
um,................it says right on it,..........."Labor Day Weekend" Scroll to that top. That headliner say's September 24th, 1966. 2nd Annual. Not Labor Day. The one that's further down is for 1967. The 3rd DCA Championship. That's Labor Day weekend. I guess there was no championship in 64. And why do they call it Labor Day anyway. Most people have off that day. That is an ad for advance tkt sales for the coming year (1967). Does any one know why it wasn't on Labor Day weekend in '66?

Northeast Circuit Championship September 5th 1966? Although there were no seniors in that championship last I recall.
