The Hurricanes begin the learning process of drill for their opener “Billy the Kid” designed by Jamey Thompson. The corps is excited as all sections will be rehearsing together the first time this year. Rehearsal will be at the Seymour Community Center in Seymour, Connecticut. Jamey writes some choice stuff. As much as you may like watching it, you guys are gonna love doing it. (Just make sure you have your track shoes laced up. lol!)

Can't wait to see the Green Team this year!

The Hurricanes finished a strong camp weekend. Coming out with a good chunk of the opener learned and plans to finish it next weekend. The corps sounds stronger then ever as we continue tweaking the rest of the show musically.

There are still a few openings in the hornline, visit www.ct-hurricanes.org for more information and up coming rehearsals.

Jamey wrote us a great opener and the corps tackled it head on this past weekend completing a sizable chunk of it Saturday then putting music to it that night. We threw in the colorguard on Sunday and you can really feel the momentum moving into our first competition at the Barnum Festival.

As others have said, a few horn spots remain so come on down this weekend and join us as we continue to learn and refine our 2008 program.
