morganhill
I hate the word "tuba," especially when it's used in reference to a "drum corps." Hurl!
scv guy
I hate the word "tuba," especially when it's used in reference to a "drum corps." Hurl! And "trumpet" too. Blech....
randomnoise
1975 Freelancers had an excellent soloist in Squib Cakes. But the best - Muchachos Go Down Gamblin' or 27th Open Wide. (To my fellow Old Guys - get used to the new terminology - it's been 8 years, guys. No need to post about your dislike for the "new" instrument names)

paul27brigs
Best tuba/contra solo was 1980 27th Lancers Cliff White. Any tuba/contra players: check out the 2008 Bushwackers. You will like the tuba parts. We have members from 17 to 47 years of age. If you are an age out or and older player like the great Cliff White come check it out. Tubas/Contras can make a hornline. raphael18
I'm still waiting for a corps to play When the Warrior Comes Out to Play (or any Youngblood Brass Band chart) - then I will be impressed!
