Wow, that's my kind of show. Yet another reason why I need a Fan Network subscription.....

OK, we just had somebody shot down on the field, then carried to his grave, complete with New Orleans funeral procession and service. Now we appear to have reached the first circle of Hell, complete with zombies.

There's no way I'm going to be able to describe all of this, even with how fast I type.

I will say this, though...VK Tubas rule for the 2nd straight year!

The corps opened with Tocatta and Fugue, then segued into Verdi's Requiem. Now they're playing backfield except for the tubas, who have the melody. Corps just turned front and let loose. I have no idea what they're playing and it doesn't matter because it's still awesome.

They just made fun of Phantom's first murder: DIE!!!! (in slow motion, no less).

Snares just played a wicked solo, complete with foot work, although not as "absurd" as Blue Devil's drumline.

Thriller! Thriller Time!!!

Tubas are totally rocking on this bass line.

Too bad Vincent Price is dead. He'd appreciate this show.

Come to think of it, this is the kind of show where he'd come back from the dead, just so he could overact again.

OK, y'all are just going to have to deal with the fact that I'm going to pretty much worship the VK tuba section throughout this entire performance.

Oh, wow. Horn line is doing the Thriller dance.

Tubas are now playing a Carmen-style bass line to Strangers in the Night. Yep, there's La Habenera. Interesting mix, but it works.
