ranintothedoor
mmmm... I think Phrygian Gates (sp?) would be wonderful on the field... lots of front ensemble stuff. Might be hard for the arranger to put together, but who doesn't love a challenge?

Willie85
Would require a once-in-a-decade baritone soloist (brass or vocal ) to pull it off, but the powerful aria "Batter My Heart" from Dr. Atomic would make for some powerful drum corps. wolfgang
I can't remember the title, but wasn't there a huge epic piece he came out with within the past year or 2 that has a huge orchestra, chorus, etc?? I think it got performed in Chicago last summer.

On The Transmigration of Souls? It was dedicated to the victims of 9/11, I don't think a drum corps could really do that piece justice. It's incredibly haunting and powerful.
