So....as I sit here watching Olympic badminton I'm thinking to myself- "What would make the ideal set of DVDs if I could mix n' match every year of the 2000s" so of course, my initial thought it to post this topic and discuss it with DCP!

Pretending that the 2000 season would be divided in the new dvd set of 4 discs, (disc 1 with 1st/2nd, disc 2 with 3rd/4th, disc 3 with 5th/6th, and disc 4 with 7th thru 12th)

What would your ideal disc 4 look like?

I'll close the poll at midnight tonight if there's enough votes, if not....tomorrow afternoon and then I'll open the poll for disc 3

Tough call between 2003 and 2006. Bluecoats and Madison were simply terrific in 2003, and Crown started their current climb that season. Spirit also had an emotional show, and if BK (in 13th) could make it onto the disc then that would probably seal the deal.

2006 has two of my favorite shows from that year, in Blue Knights and Crown. Glassmen also put out a really entertaining Beethoven show.

2004 also deserves mention. Crown was fantastic, and Madison and Crossmen both entertained by bringing back old standards.

Nice topic! I'm going to do it a bit different and mix and match.

7th place: 2007 Bluecoats

8th place: 2008 Blue Stars

9th place: 2002 Crossmen

10th place: 2003 Crown

11th place: 2001 Madison Scouts

12th place: 2002 Cascades

It's interesting to look at the layout from year to year and see which corps move around a lot and which ones haven't (ie Boston typically in 9th, Glassmen and Spirit with a death grip on 11th and 12th for the last few years, etc)

2008 followed very closely by 2003.

2003 was my favorite 7-12 year before ever having attended Finals personally. Every show that year connected with me in a number of ways.

The abso-tively awesome quality I had the pleasure to see (for the first time) live this year - this past weekend in fact - blew me away. My first Finals - my new personal favorite 7-12.

2002 or 2003 for me. For my non-marching years probably 2005
