gottalovit
One of my good drum corps friends was telling me at one time, there were 6 active corps from Racine WI. Well, 5 corps from Racine, and 1 from a suburb area. Anyone know what the record number of corps from a single town is?
Tom Brace
One of my good drum corps friends was telling me at one time, there were 6 active corps from Racine WI. Well, 5 corps from Racine, and 1 from a suburb area. Anyone know what the record number of corps from a single town is? back in the 1930s there were more corps than that from Racine. The County Historical Society had some information regarding this back 10 years ago or so.
jstdrumn
That’ll be tough to beat. Single State (active and inactive) off the top of my head – California?
rut-roh
I would think the places like NYC and Boston could claim plenty at one time.

igor230
Ontario until fairly recently had it's own competitive circuit of several corps. Some good groups!
Kyle B
If you include suburbs then NYC will definitely win. The suburbs (just NJ) include Garfield, Dumont, Hackensack, Hawthorne and others, which had drum corps in them.
