Donny Drum Corps
The best gas in Rochester comes from eating at Nick Tahou's at 3 AM after partying all night. Truth!
Jimbalaya
DonnyJoe, as I remember, we found many places of libation wherein leaking gas could be experienced. At times it seemed to be audible......was Nick with us then? Joe
supertbone
In Salt Lake gas is 3.89 for 85 octane and 87 over 4 bucks for 87.
Jeff DeMello
$3.19 in Dallas, TX area last night! WOW ... in Santa Clara it's still $4.19. In the California central valley (I live in Stockton), it's around $3.85.
AlbionNY Drum Line
Wow, .40 to .50 cents cheaper than here................ Yeah it's actually about that much cheaper than Albion which is only 30 minutes away lol
Danielle
And it is still $3.80ish at the cheapest in suburban Buffalo.
CozyChopsCom
For Dixie drivers: KY I-65, Exits 2, 6: $3.42.9, cheapest gas I found after 'Bama's $3.35.9. -65. KY I-75. Exits 29, Corbin, and 129, Georgetown, are historically the cheapies. If one is in Alabama on I-65, take the I-65 Huntsville/Decatur exit towards Decatur for cheapest gas in that area, or the exit just south of there. $3.59.9 Cincinnati area From my Empire days, I always filled up at Pilot in Erie, PA; then hoped that tank could get me back to Erie to avoid NY prices. Last year, an exit in PA, near NY, had good prices. Fantastic thread. Thanks so much! Fay's wrath has followed all the way. I'm still trying to outrun her. CorpsPhan
3.46 and 3.19...l wish...Gas just went under $4 for the first time in a while here. 3.97 to 3.99 I would guess Chicago is a bit higher. In the Aurora area it's been roughly $3.85 for a week now. Filled up at Meijer last night for $3.73 using my Meijer card for a 10-cent/gallon discount. Gypsy Baron
Don't outrun her, take a wrong turn and see if you can divert her! Just arrived in Rochester from the left coast and saw regular dor $3.63 and $3.67 on the 'cheap' stations on West Henrietta Road. EDIT: Just back from dinner and can confirm that the Kwikstop on W. Henrietta Rd ( Rte 15 ) just north of 252 has regular for $3.57. Glad it's a bit cheaper than the $4.50 or so in the San Francisco area since Avis gave me a freaking Hyundai SUV.....ugh! Only paying for a 'compact' but the fuel costs are goint to mount as I'll be here in the area until the 5th! Loats of clouds and bumpy air west of here on the flight in. Mostly in the Buffalo area and to the west of there. Heavy clouds stretching way to the west over Lake Erie. Hot and humid here...but hey, that's summer here and one of the reasons I left Batavia and settled in San Francisco. The other reason is what happens here in December and January....the 'lake effect'! Paul Edited August 27, 2008 by Gypsy Baron
