kevingamin
Horn line now facing backfield and playing Shenandoah. They turn front for the final part of the song, then the tempo picks up as they move into the final chord. Just noticed the scoreboard is showing the performance. That was always distracting whenever I marched and, during a turn front or back, caught a glimpse of the video.
kevingamin
LakeShoremen coming onto the field now. Did they get new uniforms? They look nice.
TenorsForWorldDomination
Request? I know you are going to do clips here and there, but can you PLEASE get a clip of Grenadiers? It would mean a lot to me and the other alumni watching via DCP.
Fred Windish
Oh, boy! That video looks great (and the weather). I'm getting excited for what's to follow. Much appreciated.
kevingamin
The LakeShoremen's 2008 program consists of: The Musician Together Again La Suerte de Los Tontos (from Cuban Fire Suite) Selections (from Cuban Overture)
kevingamin
One tenor, three snares, and two basses for LakeShoremen's percussion. 17 Brass. 4 pit. 1 DM. 8 guard.
kevingamin
The show opens with soloists trading off the La Suerta main theme. Snares come up and just start ripping licks. I remember this drum line being very aggressive last year and that has not changed for 2008. Nice in tune opening from the brass!

kevingamin
Two of the pit members are young boys, probably sons of other corps members. They're not really playing right now, just holding tambourines and waiting for their chance to shine.
kevingamin
Ballad section now. I remember this ballad from 2001 Crossmen and, I believe 2002 Brigadiers.
