scottgordon
I am sad to report that Bram Lambrechtse, longtime friend of DCI and former cook for the Freelancers, has died. He suffered a stroke a couple of days ago, from which he never recovered. This was quite a shock, as he was only in his mid-60s and in relatively good health. Those of us on the west coast will miss his kind presence, his deep love of drumcorps, and his wisdom. I'll follow up when I learn more about the memorial. ravedodger
I remember Bram well--we were very lucky to have him. He was the best and ensured that we were amongst the most well-fed corps in DCI. The only thing I didn't enjoy on tour was his chef's salad that almost always had bleu cheese all over it--yuck. He will be missed greatly.
