08Hawkeye
Was Mike Jackson ever involved with the Blue Devils? RCC, close enough
MGCpimpOtimp
I think with the legalization of electronics, and Mike's great success with them in WGI, along with his obvious percussive abilities, I think he's a GREAT add.
THE ORIGINAL
BLUECOATS percussion finished in the top 3 the last 3 years in a row. WHY THE CHANGE ? WHERE DID THE CAPTION HEAD GO ? WHERE DID ALL THE TECH'S GO ? WHAT HAPPENED ?

elmhurstmusiced
I'm intrigued to say the least. Honestly, how many steps forward are there from where they were? I guess we'll just have to wait and see. That's my point exactly. They had a good percussion program, IMO, and now-not saying these guys can't do it, just not sure it's moving forward. For those upset with me, I am sorry that I shared my opinion out of line.
MGCpimpOtimp
I think where people got upset was that the tone of your post kind of implied they dumped their current staff, which is not true. The staff left, and like others have said, there aren't that many steps "forward" available. I think they did a great job filling the huge hole left by mac. TastyWaves
Wow.. they have been one of my favorite lines for a few years now. With these guys, it might become my VERY favorite! cant wait to see what they do.
