The design team of the Hawthorne Caballeros met last weekend to discuss the music and design of the 2009 program. Progress was made and although the full program will be announced shortly, we are excited to announce - and yes tease you all with the selection of our 2009 Ballad - the beautiful and haunting "Time to Say Goodbye". Written by Francesco Sartori (music) and Lucio Quarantotto (lyrics), "Time to Say Goodbye" was an international popular hit performed by many artists, including the famous duet by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. "Time to Say Goodbye" has been performed as "Por ti volaré" in Spain and "Con te Partirò" in Italy. Dennis Argul, Brass arranger for the Caballeros said "Time to Say Goodbye is a remarkable ballad that will set the stage for an exciting, romantic and inspirational program for 2009". The final selections for the rest of the program will be released after the October 22, 2008 Design Team meeting.
