parkbench
Very hard to not include historic closers of The Cavaliers during 60's - 80's; Somewhere, Rainbow, Softly, etc. All deftly reprised by Anniversary Corps in 2008 Closer Medley. Can't watch them without tears.
84BDsop
Good call. Not nearly enough love for this. Death Hunt was a brutal, bombastic, in your face from start to finish piece that was so bad ### that I'm surprised the Regiment played it. Way too underrated. IMO I kinda liked the 94 version a little better...the one bar battery on the last snap turn hightened the mood....and ALMOST offset the really BAD baritone right before it...horrid tone, there...the battery was cleaner at the end in 94 as well. But I'm sure if I had, they would fit in there somewhere.
dckid80
I'm a little surprised none of the other olde phartes has mentioned Conquest. Well now I'm feeling a bit guilty... This would have been my 2nd choice if I had listed one. I would have gone with '79 though. Nothing beat the sound of that that small but proud horn line. Bob J
1983 Gahfield, SCV, Suncoast, Spirit, Freelancers, 27th, 1984 Garfield, BD, SCV, Regiment, Suncoast, Crossmen, VK 1985 BD, Madison, Suncoast, Spirit, Troopers, Star, Freelancers Sam, you bookended me! What about '84 Freelancers? I in particular have a soft spot for '80 BD.

84BDsop
Sam, you bookended me!What about '84 Freelancers? Sorry dude....while the opener rocked, the closer just never turns me on...especially the ending tag.
Bob J
I never cared for the ending tag either. We should have brought back "I get crazy" or "Bellavia".

That's why I didn't pick it. That bari was WAY over the top!
