Favorite moments of drill simplicity

Recommended Posts

Cavaliers '99 - The Amoeba

Cavaliers '00 - The triangle ripple in the ballad during a pit break. Starting from the front, each member moves laterally, then turns around and continues to move. Simple, but beautiful.

Cavaliers '02 - The Fugue

Cavaliers '03 - The gates at the end of the ballad.

Cavaliers '08 - Expanding/Contracting boxes near the end of the opener.

SCV '99 - Folding block

BD '06 - The Gun and The Dagger

Cadets (multiple years) - Two blocks that enter then exit each other.

i don't believe i'm saying this, but

1996 phantom... when the horns close in around the guard, the guard all falls down, and the horns march away after the hit, leaving a big clump of red on the field.

so simple.

wow. do you need a valium after that? i'd take two if i were you! ($1 to Del Shores)

1989 Vanguard when the triangle with "arms" rotates to form a larger triangle. Made me say "Holy ####, how did they do that?" the first time I saw it.

Troopers sunburst.

Always amazing, and always has a crowd response. And how can you not appreciate the traditional expanding circle? :]
