Fruitbreaks

Recommended Posts

How long have fruitbreaks been common in drum corps?

Im not sure, but at least as long as staffs everywhere wanted an excuse to have 15 minute 'fruit and juice' breaks, in place of an actual 45 minute lunch...

never had a fruitbreak. . .barely got water breaks. . .in fact we really didn't get breaks now that i think of it. . . oh well

ha...i'd hardly call a fruitbreak a "break"...

I hadnt heard of them when I first started marching...but by the time I aged out...several corps were using them.

Maybe I just wasnt in the know....

Not a drum corps, but we had fruit breaks occasionally during band camps. They were just thrown in with water breaks, and instead of gushing and going, we actually got to savor the water. Imagine that!

HAHAHA, we had one fruitbreak.... they let us sleep in after a long bus ride, so we had an ensemble block and that was it, we had a fruit break in there.
