Dr.Mickey
I went to finals from 85- 98.Planned to go in 99 but my wife was due with our first August 6. Five kids later I haven't been back to finals since. Although I'm on my way to having my own Corp. So familiar. First full regional was Nashville 1992 - first chance to see any top 6 corps other than Cadets (who I first saw in 1990) Finals: 1993 1994 (1995) - Summer Gross Anatomy - couldn't miss class - so it was a no go 1996 1997 1998 - First finals married 1999 2000 2001 - Wife's last airplane ride to see Finals, and my last finals Then came the regionals: Murfreesboro in 2002, 2003 First child born in 2004 - the year without drum corps - decent trade Regionals in Atlanta: 2005(or was that TN), 2007, 2008, going again 2009 TWINS born 2007, so Indy may be off the radar for a while. An overnight to Atlanta is a lot to ask. Edited July 17, 2009 by Dr.Mickey

Dylan Ford
Never been. I'm only 19, though. Hopefully the next two summers I'll be MARCHING finals!
Puppet
I got coerced to go to my first in 1985. I can hear it now: "...c'mon and go," she said. "It's Madison, you love Wisconsin. Garfield will be there." "I hate Garfield, don't you remember who I used to march with?" "OK, Santa Clara." "Where's my bag?" That was the year I was pretty much stunned by a cheesy little Corps called Star Of Indiana - I was at the Finals for the next 10 in a row. Saw the awesome Blue Devils and Phantom shows in '06, '07 and last year. Been sick this year so I'll miss but you will see my face in the place for Star Alum next year! INSIDETHEFORTY
1990, 1991 (as performer), 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 2000, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008. I also went to major regionals in 1999, 2001, 2002, 2005 but wasn't able to make it to championships for various reasons. So there are really only two years I missed entirely. I'll be there in 2009I had a great conversation last year in the lobby of my hotel with an old guy and his wife who've been to every one since 1974. They were huge Troopers fans. Now that's DCI dedication! Now there's some folks I would love to meet! I remember Troopers from 1969-1979! Awesome Corps! I sincerely hope they make FINALS in 2009! The 2009 SCV corps has the potential to draw that kind of emotional response from me!!! Broken up!
