Plan9
So... No more chop and bop...Right? And in comes Fred on yet another strafing run. Actually, as a result of this post....(#354 anti-Blue Devil sentiments in a row).....I think you can offically be classified as a BD stalker! That is...an abnormal fixation on something you can't have! You'll need to register in your neighborhood so folks can google map you! acn
Which solos did Dr. Crotts play? Anyone know?
scalenesofar
I'm not sure about all of the solos Chip had, but I know he did "When A Man Loves A Woman" in 1992. As a former jazz student of his at JSU, I can only imagine how happy he is to be working with Blue Devils this year. Congrats, Chip!
Whiskey
Which solos did Dr. Crotts play? Anyone know? He did the ballad in '92. The soprano screamers at the end of '91 and '92. Can't remember what else he did.
trumpetcam
Looks like they have hit a homerun with this new brass guy. He's got a ton of experience, he is an alumni, and is a fulltime educator and professional player. Sounds like a win-win for BD and I am sure Dr. Crotts is excited to go back and teach at his (other) former corps. Maybe they will make him play one of his old solos next summer when they do "When A Man Loves A woman" in encore? And having another Odello on staff is just icing on the cake. Ricky will bring lots of experience and will seemingly fit in great with the current percussion staff. Good to see the BD team is still content with nothing but the best in staff and educators. And people are still surprised why they win so much... Good luck to both these new staff members and to BD next season!
