WWBD
The Kilties would like to wish farewell and good wishes to our member from Japan, "Tiaga". "Tiaga" performed on contrabass with The Kilties this past 2009 season and recently had a safe journey back to Japan. Needless to say, his contribution to The Kilties as a model member with great dedication and skill was deeply appreciated. Always remember "Tiaga", once a Kiltie, always a Kiltie! The Kilties Membership/Evaluation Day to start the 2010 season is December 6th at Gilmore Middle School in Racine. For more information, including application for membership, visit the corps' website located HERE! ~Since 1934~

bill
On 1/2??? Slackers! We had to teach him English first. You know, starting with the seven basic words.

I assume Bill, that those are George Carlin's infamous 7 words.. And Sam - only half because after teaching him English, they had to make him an official Cheese-head.. It's a Sconnie thing, right? runs and hides.. Pat
bill
Yup, those 7 words Pat. Plus we taught "Tiaga" how to hang straws from his nose to impress girls at fast food joints.....and ya know what, it worked!! Who would've thought. Great guy and terrific member, proud to have him as a Kiltie brother (straws and all). He stayed with Scott for a while off and on, then with other members in their homes throughout the season and had a great experience with sightseeing, traveling, etc. etc.....all "good stuff".
