Madison's 2010 Uniform

Recommended Posts

I really hate to ask this, since I usually don't like when people do it, but can someone post a link to a picture of the new uniform? I've been looking for about fifteen minutes so that I can actually contribute to this thread...and I've failed miserably.

Fairly certain there is no drawing or prototype to be seen as yet. What has been reported however from people who attended the last MDBCA meeting is that Jim Mason intends the uniform to be a throwback including spats (leggings) and it appears it will be along the lines of the uniform worn by the corps 81-82 which was all green explorer uniform, aussie, white tie, citation cords, red sash, white belt, spats, black shoes. This is also what the MSARP wore in 06. Truthfully, I kind of was hoping they'd go back a couple more years and if it could be made to look good, use a neckerchief.

I'm pretty confident that Stanbury or whoever theyre using can recreate the look while using modern design and materials. Recent uniforms by Crossmen come to mind when they were all in black. And it would be fitting as Crossmen and Scouts used to be very similar back in the day.

Thanks. I think this sounds great. I'm looking forward to seeing what they come out with!
