Thanks Geoff

Things are progressing well - brass now have all the music for the show & we're very impressed with it. We should be announcing the show very soon & I'll post on here when it's out.

One change to our visit, is that we are now competing in the Bridgeport Show.

Thanks

John

Hi all, The Kidsgrove Scouts have now announced this year's production - The Heist Of The Century

Music is a partly original score by Tez Smith, taken from & inspired some of the great "heist" movies.

"The 2010 season is a very special year for the Kidsgrove Scouts organisation as it celebrates its 100th Anniversary. The senior corps will perform throughout the UK and Europe as well as touring the USA to compete in the DCA World Championships.

In order to celebrate the anniversary the corps have chosen a show that will enhance and embrace the Kidsgrove Scouts tradition as well as always looking to the future in exploring new avenues and journey's.

Kidsgrove Scouts are therefore very proud to announce their 2010 Senior Corps Production, click here for details www.kidsgrovescouts.com"

I'm not sure if anyone has posted this on here yet, but just in case:

The Sun Devils Drum and Bugle Corps is proud to announce our 2010 show: A Night at the Globe

For over 400 years, the works of William Shakespeare have inspired composers, scholars, artists and poets throughout the world. Rooted in fundamental human themes of love, passion, betrayal and the deadly power of jealousy, his works speak to the human condition. "A Night at the Globe" will seek to portray those themes through Alfred Reed's symphonic portrait Othello, based on the play of the same name.

The Sun Devils invite you to join us for "A Night at the Globe". Revel at court jesters; take arms against a sea of troubles; and if thou hast no name to be known by, let us call thee devil! :worthy: :worthy:

So what is the reason some people haven't announced their shows yet? I know of a few corps here that have had multiple camps and told their membership their shows, but haven't announced them on dcp or their website. Thoughts? ideas?

Hurcs announced last week their 2010 show is:

Heaven Sent

This energetic, emotional, and colorful production will feature source material from Newman, GLAD (the a capella group), Bernstein, and Rutter. The program will be presented in 5 parts:

Part I - Angels in America, Thomas Newman

Part II - Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee, GLAD

Part III - God Said, Leonard Bernstein

Part IV - Before the Throne of God Above, GLAD

Part V - Gloria, John Rutter

This was posted on their front page, so I'm not talking out of school.[
