  1. Perfect video for today: http://youtu.be/SzsDHtzx6tI
  2. Sun Devils plan to return this season as well I believe.
  3. Haha, classic. :) gosh I never thought I'd miss those laps!
  4. That's great news JJ. I was just recently thinking about calling you to see what was going on for this year, and now I know! I'm definitely going to be there can't wait to catch up. Here's to SD making a comeback! If you need any help or anything give me a call.
  5. I personally believe that with Cadets coming off a Championship year, we might see a good amount of their age-outs in their DCA corps. They have the potential to come out year one and win in my opinion if they can get a full corps of Cadets alumni within the 18-25 range. Good luck to them!
  6. JJ, I was so happy to see you and all the other Sun Devil's this weekend! Nice job with the National Anthem, you made this alumni very proud. Now 2012 just needs to hurry up so you guys can get back to what you do best!
  7. Five more minutes.... Urghhh. Wait, it's time for drum corps! I am up before the sun and ready to roll, going to be heading out to camp soon before the show tomorrow. Can't wait to see everyone! For now...
  8. Ya know, I didn't even think about that. That area down there is definitely a lot different than Gainesville. Being in a college town is surely a positive thing for any drum corps! After all UF does have a pretty good marching band.
  9. That's awesome news! I wish you guys the best of luck in 2012. Anything to bring Sun Devils closer to Jacksonville is a big plus in my book. :)
  10. Can't wait to see you JJ and whoever else from SD is at the show! I'm pretty excited will be my first drum corps show in FL.
  11. Any word on the Freelancers? I really enjoyed seeing them last year but I am not sure if they were a one year thing or come out every season.
  12. Good luck guys!! Here's to a trip without the A/C going out or almost falling off the face of the earth.
  13. This weekend was worth going for the nice weather alone! mid 70's have been rare up in north florida this winter. I had a blast this weekend, and am very excited for the March camp! Better rest up now while I can...
  14. I can't declare myself a fan or not until I see it in person, but I would like to see a Faust-like show with this kind of story. I think it has the potential to be a very emotional show if done correctly. Bring on the summer!
  15. I'm so happy about the addition of a volunteer staff for this season, they are always the nicest people you will meet LOOKIN' FORWARD TO DRILL!! Man that's going to be fun.
  16. That's so cool that we are going to NY for our first show this season, I'm really looking forward to that! And, of course the decent temperatures during late July!
  17. I'm not sure if anyone has posted this on here yet, but just in case: The Sun Devils Drum and Bugle Corps is proud to announce our 2010 show: A Night at the Globe For over 400 years, the works of William Shakespeare have inspired composers, scholars, artists and poets throughout the world. Rooted in fundamental human themes of love, passion, betrayal and the deadly power of jealousy, his works speak to the human condition. "A Night at the Globe" will seek to portray those themes through Alfred Reed's symphonic portrait Othello, based on the play of the same name. The Sun Devils invite you to join us for "A Night at the Globe". Revel at court jesters; take arms against a sea of troubles; and if thou hast no name to be known by, let us call thee devil! :worthy:
  18. Looking good Music City! I hope you guys can get all the members you need to succeed, I enjoyed seeing the corps come out last season and really take your first year seriously, I was very impressed with a guys for a first year corps! Keep doin what your doin guys!
  19. In 2007 on Finals day in California, Teal Sound's final run through for that season was a silent run through because the cops had come and told us to stop playing at about 8 am. So, our whole brass line asked if we could take a picture with the "LAPD" it was quite a fun experience, and although we had a silent run through on finals day I would trade that sound for the memories of taking the photos with those cops. Good times.
