CrunchyTenor
If I'm not mistaken, this sounds like a different arrangement of what they played on "Ornaments in Brass" a few years back...and I agree with craiga, love the ending! That was VK, and the 1993 OIB arrangement was a transcription of "Angels" from the 1961 album "A Kenton Christmas". They recorded it at UNT, where Kenton's original charts now reside. BRASSO
My mom forwarded this to me today, after receiving it from the Boston Crusaders.http://www.dci.org/media/audio/bac_angels.mp3 Can't wait to hear them live! I have to give kudos to these Corps who do this. The staff give the brass members the charts, they read 'em, do a couple of runs, then it's recorded. It's all pretty amazing to do it all in such short order and play it so well. Thanks for posting this. Boston does a very nice sounding job with this too.. ...'very enjoyable rendition with some nice creative twists to it. HOOKEDBYLEGEND78
Wasn't that a snippet of "Time to Say Goodbye" in there? I also liked the addition of some "Conquest". Thanks Boston!

nineiron
You can criticize it if was Aug. but come on man. To throw it together in a few minutes in December its not bad at all. Love the Conquest ending and hope I hear that part in August.
