dckid80
I'm kind of partial to '79 Guardsmen's TOSP if you have the soloists to pull it off.

dckid80
Get a hold of Rick Connors and get his arrangement. North Star did it best.

Commander71
Big Noise From Winetka Kenton Intermission Riff Birdland Bellavia El Gato Triste Mambo Italiano Harlem Nocturne Now or Never (New York Voices) On Broadway (George Benson) Sabre Dance (Buffalo Sabres!) Old Black Magic Baby Elephant Walk and my favourite "Yes Indeed" (Corky's arrangement for Brigs)...you have the sop line to carry it this year... I often thought an arrangement of "It Was a Very Good Year" similar to the Troopers version which included snippets of Trooper signature tunes would be good for MSJ and insert a few bars of "Spender", "Lassus Trombone", "Rich Man" and other great numbers Joe's did throughout the piece. rudidrummer73
Donny, Got one for you guys to consider, JOHN HENRY, Utica Yankees 1965. One of the best, and often overlooked, concerts of the 60s. It's kick into LOST ON THE MTA can still generate goosebumps 45 years later.
