Noname
3 years so far in world class. I've got 4 years left, and made callbacks for a top tier corps. See how it goes.

MichaelB
i'm interested in how someone was able to march at 10. Mental maturity aside, how was one able to be good enough on their instrument, and physically able to carry anything heavier than a trumpet. no way to make a field percussion spot (MAYBE cymbals, MAYBE) and tall enough and have big enough hands to be able to efficiently play mallets? I suppose guard is an option, but i would think a 10 year old wouldn't be able to spin a flag without it hitting the group during drop spins... so your saying cymbals require having no mental maturity, or skill? anyone could just come in and play cymbals? yeah your wrong

elphaba01
Unfair poll. Junior drum corps did not begin in 1972. "Drum Corps Died?": Well said. DCI did not "Start" junior drum corps, althogh it may cause it's demise..... Not that anyone really cares, but I marched 1958-1968. Piper
allright!.... who voted 18 years? Wouldn't you have to begin when you're like 4 years old? ROFLMAO Don't laugh. I was a Drum Corps baby and started when I was 6. DCI didn't come along until I only had 5 years left. After that it was DCA or bust.
