Blue Stars 2010

Recommended Posts

Star -> Crown -> Blue Stars -> Madison Scouts ( :tongue: )
If you're gong to do that, you have to start it with Cadets, and modify the Crown/Blue Stars/Madison a little bit

Cadets -> Star -> Current Crown -> Resurgent Blue Stars -> (Resurgent?) Madison Scouts ( :worthy: )

and if you're going to do THAT, you have to start with Hopkins

Hopkins -> Cadets -> Star -> Current Crown -> Resurgent Blue Stars -> (Resurgent?) Madison Scouts ( tongue removed, since I'm being dead serious)

All of it is traceable back to Hopkins, whether anyone likes to admit it or not.

Blue Stars are the new OLD Blue Stars.....

Ok, now that I look at it this seems sarcastic--but really, they're starting to look like the butt stompin' Stars of the 70's. I'll wager top 6 in 2010.

Obviously theyre all their own organizations with their own distinct traditions and stories. But yeah, theres a lot of similarity brass-wise between Star\Crown\Blue Stars (and i'd assume Madison now with the influx of Star people there). Its undeniable the influence star-connected staff members have had on BS.

Hell, if someone wants to say BS is the new Crown or Star or Cadets.. I dont see too much reason to be offended by it. Those are 3 fine organizations with a lot of great programs to their name. Id take it as a compliment as much as anything.

Exactly! :tongue:

...and to be fair, Blue Stars has a very rich history before Star or Crown. It's great to get a glimpse into what they're doing this year through the recordings posted on facebook.

I can tell some quality things are going on in both the hornline and the drumline.

Wait, what about Troopers? DVD worked with them one year too.

Hey Boz. Are you coming to the La Crosse show in the new stadium the day before that, June 16?

Blue Stars, Carolina Crown, Bluecoats, Scouts, Troopers, Teal Sound, plus 4 others. It's gonna be great.

Yep. Even during their years in Division 2 & 3, they we mostly at or near the top of their class.
