These are all DCI era questions about World Class corps..........(1972 and forward) 1. What corps placed 40th in their 1st season, and was 6th four years later? 2. How many contests did the 1979 Cadets win? 3. This is the only corps to receive a perfect total effect score, and lose the championship. (corps and year) 4. This corps went up 18.55 points in 13 days to make finals. (corps and year) 5. This corps won drums at prelims, but the corps failed to qualify for finals. (corps and year) 6. This corps missed finals, placing 9th in brass and 25th in percussion. (corps and year) 7. This 1977 western corps had a horn line numbering in the 20's , but had a 10 man snare line. 8. This corps finished 33rd in prelims, but was 6th in musical analysis. 9. This corps moved from 14th to 4th in one year. 10. This corps is the only corps to win Division II and also make Division I finals in the same season. Bonus (another order of fries, IF you answer all correctly) Name the current world class competitors who have beaten every champion corps who is still on the field, but have never won the DCI title for themselves. The Cadets of Greece won on June 10th. I guess ther answer would be 3 then. 3. SCV - 1975 4.Guardsmen went up 17.75 in 1980 5. Oakland Crusaders - 1977 6. Garfield - 1978 7. Knight Raiders? 8.
