deftguy
I was wondering how many people typically work with the colorguard to put a field show on the field these days. Just the colorguard and not any other faucet of the corps. How many to put on a winterguard show? Edited June 2, 2003 by deftguy
Paul Milano
I think the staff "pours" all over the guard to help them . . .
SCVAlumniGuard
9 in SCV A-Corps this year... http://www.scvanguard.org/vanguard/2003/staff.php
Guard Diva
we have 4 in Renegades that do nothing BUT guard....we have a few others that are "visual" staff, but that includes guard and drill and other "visual stuff" that's not just guard. For my independent Winterguard this year I have 4 staff that I work with besides me.
LancerFi
I see 2 people I know very well. Our rifle instructor and an alumnus of 2-7. She has also taught SCV before. I'm not sure of the years but I know she was there for their last win in 99. She has also won the Laurel Award, and is one of the women I hope to get on the ballot of the DCI Hall of Fame. One other person who also designs uniforms, is a great guard person. Self-taught, which blows me away even more! Good luck to SCV, and all of the corps this year! Moe712002
After seeing SCV's show this weekend, all I can say is the 9 staff members better start doing something because that guard is sloppy. They are not pulling their weight in the show. And what is with those god-awful uniforms??? Terrible.
PhillyDCIMontreal
Maureen, All 9 Staff members are not with the Guard at one time. I think the guard uniforms are a great change after being in Black for soooo many years.

LisaLisaMoMeesa
I'm thinking with 9 guard instructors...no matter how many are there at any one time ought to be able to clean the dirt. It is early season, tho so we'll see......
