kevingamin
White Sabers just "haw"ed and "hoop"ed like they were Empire Statesmen when they went to dress center. Not quite as convincing.
kevingamin
Pit and solo snare, playing on brushes, to open the show. Brass coming in from a very spread out opening formation. Solo trumpet on the 30, side 1, to start the brass portion of the show.

kevingamin
Already more power than I got in all of their performance on the 3rd. Oops, a bari player's hat is falling off, but still hanging onto the back of her head. Just saw Kerry Vullo, whom I marched with at Glassmen, riding in the golf cart with her dad Carl, who is coordinating the show tonight. Trumpet soloist just held a high note for an impossibly long time. This guy can play. He's ripping off another solo now.
kevingamin
Only one tenor playing right now. Is the other new and only knows the drill so far? OK, he's playing now, too. The performance is still ragged, but now it's not uncertain ragged. Still not sure this was the best thematic choice for a small corps, but they are working it as best they can. kevingamin
Like the last time I saw them, the tubas are absolute dogs, playing out the entire show. They're laying down a great foundation for the rest of the corps.
