DAvery
3. The last Junior corps winner for the American Legion Championships was? Year? 1980 Arbella Which is actually kind of ironic since this was called the Sons of American Legion Championships.
Northern Thunder
1980 ArbellaWhich is actually kind of ironic since this was called the Sons of American Legion Championships. Arbella had become a co-ed corps by this time, after being all-girls in their early years.

GMichael1230
Arbella had become a co-ed corps by this time, after being all-girls in their early years. Im pretty sure Arbella was still all girl in 1980. We competed against them. G
DAvery
Arbella had become a co-ed corps by this time, after being all-girls in their early years. I found a picture from 1981 and they still looked all girl. I don't think they went coed until 1982. That's when they changed their uniforms and went with pants. Northern Thunder
I found a picture from 1981 and they still looked all girl. I don't think they went coed until 1982. I confused '80 with '82. Obviously they were still all-girl in '81, when they competed at DCI in the All-Girl division.
