BozzlyB
Here's hoping the Blue Stars do something to address the staging issue at the end. Pretty much everyone is saying (and I agree) that it gets completely overlooked due to how exciting the music is at the end and it being AWAY from where the visual effect is taking place. geluf
As long as it involves the words "Crossmen," "better," and "everyone else." Everyone else was better than the Crossmen? ...did I do it right?
Jeff Ream
You BETTER give your thoughts.......many of us will be waiting to read how you saw things. G just remember tho if you try to speak for the audience, people will skewer you, and if you critique amp balance, people will say it's just your POV
oldsoprano
the " Too bad I must have missed your favorite corps. Try not being a jerk next time " was way out. I didn't think that comment was "way out" at all. It was spot on. He just said out loud what many of us was thinking.
geluf
Not trying to be negative here. But do reviewers review a movie half way through it ? only the second half of a play ??? you did not miss a corps . YOU MISSED 4 CORPS.......out of 10. come on. appreciate the review , just would not write one if its incomplete. the " Too bad I must have missed your favorite corps. Try not being a jerk next time " was way out. Except this doesn't make any sense, your analogy is completely flawed. "Do reviewers review a movie half way through it? Only the second half of a play?" No. Which is why a review about half of a single corps show would be weird. These shows have nothing to do with each other. They are self-contained products. They missed 4 corps out of 10, which means they were not qualified to talk about those 4 corps, so they didn't. They did, however, see the remaining 6, and thus were perfectly qualified to review those 6. You definition of what constitutes a "review" does not jive with actual definition.
