kevingamin
Drum solo just finished. Drum line's a little dirtier than what I've heard so far, but still strong.

kevingamin
Aside from a little tuning issue with the mellos at the start, Dancer in the Dark was very pretty. I especially liked the guard couple who set up a picnic on the field, complete with blanket, basket, and telescope to gaze at the stars. 1000 Airplanes on the Roof. They've REALLY kicked up the intensity for this piece. Reprise of Dancer in the Dark, followed by the end of Jupiter, then the big finish with the corps going all over the place with drill. Very strong performance overall! Crowd again stands at the end of the show.
kevingamin
They're playing '74 Kingsmen on the big screen as Genesis comes on the field.
kevingamin
Next on the field is Genesis from Edinburg, Texas. Their 2010 program is entitled "One Night in the Valley" and consists of: Quien Sabe (Who Knows) from Cuban Fire Suite by Kenton , Stan La Suerte de los Tantos from Cuban Fire Suite by Kenton , Stan Autumn Leaves by Kosma; Mercer; Prevert Mambo Inn by Unknown 23 Degrees N 82 Degrees W by Unknown Malaguena by Lecuona, Ernesto
kevingamin
Love the warm-up chorale the brass line plays in the end zone before the show. Very warm sound and the tubas sound awesome.

I bet the fans will really eat this piece up
kevingamin
I like the uniforms they got from Avon High School, although they're a little too close to Glassmen's for my personal taste.
kevingamin
Nice low evil sound from the tubas to open the show, fits the music perfectly, and they're doing it from the back hash, too.
kevingamin
Could have used a little more on the impact before going into La Suerta. Trumpets are ripping face! Great sound!
