Really, it is hard to cast my opinion for a couple of reasons. First, I marched 1989 and so really have no basis for watching the show and comparing. Part of what made my decision to go back west to college and march SCV for my age out year was the 1988 version. Second, I laugh when folks dissect the "high" quality video and audio recordings and determine who was better. I really appreciate the perspectives of those who viewed the shows in person and those who competed with the shows being discussed. All in all I really enjoyed most of SCV's 1980s and early 1990's shows. BTW... consolidating in the Historical forum would be best. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My sister who continued to march Florida Wave liked your 1989 show over mine hands down. I really enjoyed both Phantom of the Opera and Les Mis so I too really enjoyed our show and Cadets.
