For example, just watch the initial opening on Fan Network. If you know anything at all about marching, you can see with your own eyes the terrible drifting problem, SCV had right from their opening that night. ( the eyes don't lie ) But the judges loved them that night. The music and show was wonderful, and so that's that. But musically, 88 had a better flow, imo. ( but '89 had more talent in the corps, despite the clearly noticeable visual and marching problems with the '89 Finals perf.)
