charlie1223
My immediate instinct was Verdi because that just happens to be the version I'm most familiar with, completely forgetting that the term "Dies Irae" has been used my many composers. So who knows... (insert several "I do" posts) Please, for the love of all things holy, let it be Verdi!!!
Lincoln
bites the big one?! I though the show was about Romeo and Juliet not Adam and Eve... Bites the Big One = Die Definition
Lincoln
Please, for the love of all things holy, let it be Verdi!!! FYI - Dies Irae is also a Polish Death Metal band founded in 1992. Wouldn't that be something if this was the source of the composition...

Cardman
Oh man, I really hope it is the Verdi version also. It was amazing when Colts did it back in 99 and I would LOVE to hear how Phantom treats it! Oh, and you may remember, but Bluecoats played Dies Irae back in 01. bawker
Please, for the love of all things holy, let it be Verdi!!! For reals. Also, if it is, don't wuss out and give the runs at the beginning to the pit. I like the Colts version, and Reading's in DCA . . .but I expect Phantom to bring it home a little more.
