One of the very best shows in DCI history in my opinion.

I miss many many corps but I'd have to say I miss the SkyRyders the most.

Thanks for the kind words. I marched all three of those shows.

I rank all 3 of those shows in my personal favorite top 15...good stuff.

Who ever came up with the 87 show was way ahead of their time.

Heh,

Maybe M. Cesario was involved! tongue.gif

Actually, I think he was involved in the uniforms or something! I think he also gave us the "Songs from the Winter Palace", Phantom Regiment show that was done in all white ( 1987 Swan Lake and the Nutcracker).

I believe Tommy Keenan Was a big driver in the design of the 87 WSS Sky Ryders Show

My favorite quote from the write up:

"There’s something pure and innocent about this show. It’s a reminder of a bygone era in drum corps when simple pleasures came into our lives like a fresh breeze off the ocean, allowing us to sit back and just enjoy drum corps for what it was, a fun evening out among thousands of other like-minded friends who weren’t looking for anything beyond wholesome entertainment."
