wcmello09
when i got my jacket, i was told that the jacket was only allowed to go completely on me. if my girlfriend or anyone else got cold, a parent/child etc..., it would be ok to put it over their shoulders as long as their arms do not go through the sleeves. when i would consider someone a member? after they perform a few shows and can actually commit to the rest of the season. but when does one feel like they're truly a member? i would say the first time i could sit with the other members of the corps, hear the corps song and not help but be moved emotionally by it. once you make a bond like this, its hard to go back. Stu
Once the corps has accepted all your dues money and will not refund any, you ought to be able to claim membership.
PioTrpt10
I think its like whats been said already, when you really become a part of the family. I think you should get a jacket until about 3/4ths the way through the season that way if you do go home injured you at least stuck it through the worst. But it depends from corps to corps. Once you recieve your necklace thats usually a big initiation process.
