WWBD
The Kilties will be rehearsing this coming weekend, April 30/May 1, at Washington Park High School Field House in Racine. The full corps will be rehearsing from 9am to 7 pm on Saturday and 9am to 5 pm on Sunday. A few openings still exist within the corps. Two brass positions and two percussion positions. bill
Are you all still playing Gs? Yup, dedicated to the G horns. Last weekend the corps put the opening number on the field and did segment run-thrus, then about 5 or 6 full run-thrus to end rehearsal on Sunday. The corps is back at it this weekend at the same rehearsal site (Park Field House) and will put the second tune (Mac Park) on the field. That'll be two thirds of the show on the field. Then we have next weekend (May 14-15) off.

bill
I have always loved the Kilties wish you a great season . Thank you for you thoughts. The corps just completed another full corps camp weekend; and we're about 16 to 20 charts from finishing the show, which we'll do the Saturday portion of next weekend's camp. Have a couple openings yet to fill; one snare or one tenor, and one bari or one contra. First "uniformed" public appearence of the season next Monday for the Racine Memorial Day parade, then off for a weekend.

On Saturday, I got to watch the full corps perform the first 2 movements of the show and it was AWESOME. The opener was outstanding and MacArthur Park is going to blow people away!! Get your babies ready to be thrown!
