What corps should use "Friday" as an encore tune?

Half of the arrangement has already been done.

It doesn't matter if it's good or bad, if people are talking about you then you're the s***.

Gag me. I'd rather be poked in the armpit with a sharp stick.

Fred O.

Then you'll be singing these lyrics from now until Indy.

“Friday” lyrics rewrite for DCI Semifinals massed corps performance

(Yeah, Ah-Ah-Ah-Ah-Ah-Ark)

Oo-ooh-ooh, hoo yeah, yeah

Yeah, yeah

Yeah-ah-ah

Yeah-ah-ah

Yeah-ah-ah

Yeah-ah-ah

Yeah, yeah, yeah

I’m in Indy, waking up in the morning

Gotta get out, gotta see run-throughs

Gotta buy souvies, gotta have t-shirts

Seein' all the booths, the money’s goin'

T-shirts big and small, everybody's buyin'

Gotta buy corps caps and stickers

Gotta see the field, see George Hopkins (hash marks)

Kickin' in the low seats

Sittin' in the high seats

Gotta make my mind up

Which seat can I take?

It's Friday, Friday

DCI Semis Friday

Everybody's lookin' forward to the scores and placements

Friday, Friday

Championships Friday

Everybody's lookin' forward to the Finals

Scoring corps, scoring corps (Yeah)

Rating corps, rating corps (Yeah)

Clap, clap, clap, clap

Lookin' forward to the Finals

Afternoon parade, we're watchin' corps on the street

Marchin' so fast, I want horns to play

Clap, clap, parades are fun

You know that they are

My ticket, your ticket

My friend is at my right, ay

My ticket, your ticket

We’ve got great seats

Kickin' in the low seats

Sittin' in the high seats

Gotta make my mind up

Which seat can I take?

It's Friday, Friday

DCI Semis Friday

Everybody's lookin' forward to the scores and placements

Friday, Friday

Championships Friday

Everybody's lookin' forward to the Finals

Scoring corps, scoring corps (Yeah)

Rating corps, rating corps (Yeah)

Clap, clap, clap, clap

Lookin' forward to the Finals

Yesterday was Quarters, Quarters

Today i-is Semis, Semis (Partyin')

We-we-we so excited

We so excited

We gonna have some corps today

Tomorrow is Saturday

And then season’s over... yuck

I don't want this season to end

B-C, for Brandt Crocker

So chillin' on his field seat (On his field seat)

Waitin’ for scores (Waitin’ for scores)

To announce top 12 (Yeah, yeah)

Top scores, here they come

Wit' a microphone turned on (Woo!)

(C'mon) Passing’ time until the scores are announced

Time tick tocks, tick tocks, wanna scream

Checks the scores, now reads them, it's a close race

We gonna have fun, c'mon, c'mon, y'all

It's Friday, Friday

DCI Semis Friday

Everybody's lookin' forward to the scores and placements

Friday, Friday

Championships Friday

Everybody's lookin' forward to the Finals

Scoring corps, scoring corps (Yeah)

Rating corps, rating corps (Yeah)

Clap, clap, clap, clap

Lookin' forward to the Finals

It's Friday, Friday

DCI Semis Friday

Everybody's lookin' forward to the scores and placements

Friday, Friday

Championships Friday

Everybody's lookin' forward to the Finals

Scoring corps, scoring corps (Yeah)

Rating corps, rating corps (Yeah)

Clap, clap, clap, clap

Lookin' forward to the Finals

The question then is thus: Which corps (singular) or corps (plural) should perform "Friday" in its post-show finale production?

Forget post-show finale production! DCI now allows amplified vocals and electronics! Rebecca Black will be only 14-years old this summer, so she has about 7 years of eligibility to "march" as a DCI vocalist! Put "Friday" in one of the actual shows with the REAL Rebecca Black singing! Maybe she could join Pacific Crest (Diamond Bar is just over the hill from Anaheim Hills, CA) and they could do a "days of the week show" or even an entire production based on that masterpiece of a work.

Thank you so much, DCI, for allowing this to actually be a possibility!

Am I the only one who is unable to find humor in this thread due to an unhealthy amount of hatred for that song?

Where's the line between a healthy amount of hatred for the song and an unhealthy amount?
