Sayre Kulp
Vaccaro's is the ONE place we ALWAYS visit when we're in the area. Heck, while driving back to PA from Florida in February we even made a detour for it!
NYSkyliner
There's a terrific Irish pub.... James Joyce.... just east of the main Inner Harbor area, in a revitalized part of town called Harbor East, basically across the street from where Littly Italy is, and a block or so from the Marriott Waterfront hotel. And you can't go wrong with Sabatino's and several other places in Little Italy. And out my way in the 'burbs, Red Brick Station at the Avenue at White Marsh is a top-notch brewpub. And of course, our local landmark... Bill Bateman's Bistro. That concludes this brief Baltimore dining and tourism interlude. Now back to our regularly-scheduled thread. Is there a DCAM meeting this Wednesday Fran?
Fran Haring
Is there a DCAM meeting this Wednesday Fran? Yes.... it's the final one before a two-month summer break, then it picks back up in September. If anyone else wants to know what DCAM is... well... if we told you, we'd have to kill you. Seriously, for those who don't know.... DCAM is Drum Corps Affiliates of Maryland, open to any and all people who have a connection to Maryland drum corps, or any drum corps for that matter... or to anyone who has never marched in a corps but is a drum corps fan, etc. DCAM is the group that organizes the Maryland Drum Corps Hall of Fame awards banquet every year. The group is always looking for new members. If anyone is interested or knows someone who might be, feel free to PM me.

On your right as you march down the Arbutus parade is a little pizza shop, Sorrentos. It's a favorite of the local college (UMBC) and it's a great place to get a cheap beer and some good pizza.
