Jeffe77
Could the drill be the problem for the hornline, not enough stamina. Basically a 1970's hornline playing with a 1990's Star drill.
superOOk
SCV Brass is VERY shaky tonight. Percussion is (as usual) kicking some serious butt.
Tez
..... yet Vanguard has been beating Regiment in brass.
Jeffe77
Phantom is the opposite, drill not as difficult and their drumline could be the death of them.
Whiskey
SCV was okay. The show is coming along, but it just don't feel like a Vanguard show. Percussion continues to impress and I can see why the guard has been beating BD. Brass at moments was controlled and sounded lush, but they lacked the oomph on the moments that should have been powerful.
lindap
I've been a fan of SCV since '73 ;-) tonight there was texture, motion, cohesive flow with expression and the guard had a moment of tribute of the past; very respectful, very cool :-D
Forevergreen
..... yet Vanguard has been beating Regiment in brass. Listening to them both I am not understanding why at this time.

Basically a 1970's hornline playing with a 1990's Star drill. it could be.. but even when standing still... and the Cadets are running around like crazy too... they are rough... but still playing their balls off. drumwizz78
Now it feels like a drum Corp show again...
