Tupac
Interesting that nobody picked the exact 8 corps that are now considered to be the best. We all have our own taste in what we enjoy on the field. Boston, Crossmen, Troopers and Madison seem to be getting a lot of love. I should have done "your top 5" favorite corps that you enjoy and see where that went. By the way, I did have Crown in the mix but changed it at the last minute. Calistar
MY list would be a little different...please remember this is for entertainment only... Listed in order of appearance: The Velvet Knights - Yup, you read that right. An upper-middle Open Class corps. Their baseball themed show is as fun as they come. A lot of thought went into this show and it shows. Blue Devils B - I have an affection for this corps and they are really good too. Glassmen - Every year one corps catches my attention and this year its the GMen. I HOPE they make finals. Not because I know anyone in the corps, but because I think this show deserves it. Blue Knights - Another really thoughtful show that just flows at its own pace. Nothing forced here, just a gem of a show. Madison - Scouts are getting better every day, every month, every year. This year's show is something special. Phantom - love the elegance of this show. Very majestic. Cadets - Blew me away at Stockton. Haven't felt that way about a Cadet's show since the Zone. Cavies - In my opinion, this year's champion. If my choosen field was field design, THIS would be the show I would aspire to. Cali. 2B or not 2B
I think a lot has to do with: Your Age, and where the show will be. Connecting "Your" history with what is available today. Then Hopefully make some MONEY if possible. I would have a " National Dream" like at "Rutgers Stadium" in New Brunswick, N.J. 2nd week in August. But at Sat. night. 7 - Juniors (First - not in any order) Cadets Carolina Crown Phantom Regiment Cavaliers Santa Clara Vanguard Boston Crusaders Madison Scouts INT 15 min's 7- All Age - not in any order Buccaneers Minnesota Brass Empire Statesmen Caballeros Renegades Hurricanes Kilties Just DM retreat (Because of Time, 14 is A LOT of Corps) Edited July 19, 2011 by 2B or not 2B
