Tony Flores
So...I wasted more money on dvd/blurays? I was livid when I got my 2008 dvds and phantom was missing a part of their show. I one of the lucky few that got their 2008 DVD without licensing edits. I stinks to high heaven that only those at finals got to see ESOM at finals
Kamarag
You're right...the most legendary 10th place show ever. Nah. That honor would go to 1988 Suncoast before it would ever go to 2011 Madison. Not taking anything away from Scouts either, I loved it.

I wouldn't think of it as wasting money because the money that is made from those sales gets funneled into the corps so they can continue to entertain us year after year. And I have worked with music licensing before, so I know that DCI's hands really are tied if the company will not give them the rights to use the song on the dvd/blu-ray. lp1955
How much of the show are we talking about?
Grumpy
How much of the show are we talking about? I'm guessing about 2 minutes, but it is their closer...and, as is usual for Madison, the last 45 seconds or so had the whole place on their feet and going nuts. IMHO, all the emotion of the whole show is lost without that piece.
TerriTroop
I think it's time we flooded the licensing company with respectful but firm requests that they rethink their tragic decision. Anyone know who to contact? I'm ready to start RIGHT NOW. This has happened way to often!

lastknight
You're right...the most legendary 10th place show ever. Careful.....you're suggesting a paradigm where a drum corps performance might have value outside of what is acknowledged on the sheets. That could be dangerous! This is not a situation where consumer demands are going to be of benefit and may actual make things a bit more difficult than they are already. Just mho, of course.
