Pop songs? o.O

and I think I can't be smitten to say they have no Cheese this year ;D

Popular songs... You know, that's how that little abbreviation got started. Rock songs were "popular" at one time. I know cause I lived it.

...and I know I'll love what Crown's doing this year too... Of course I like BOTH Crown and The Cavaliers... thumbup.gif

You're right and wrong.

Right that Crown's book is anything but cheese this year.

Wrong in that you absolutely can still be smitten on DCP :-)

Hahahaha

Am I the only one who immediately flashed to "A Christmas Story" when seeing this show title?

Mr. Parker: "Fra-gee-lay. That must be Italian."

Mrs. Parker: "Uh, I think that says FRAGILE, dear."

Mr. Parker: "Oh, yeah."

I thought of "Sting" Fragile, actually.

The Blue Devils just announced their 2012 program, "Cabaret Voltaire"

The 2012 Blue Devils welcome you to the challenging, whimsical, thought-provoking world of CABARET VOLTAIRE. Where the presentation could reveal a militarized duty-bound masculinity contrasted with a complete disregard for the rules. Instead of a carefully orchestrated structure, evening performances offered improvisation, the deliberate juxtaposition of uncoordinated actions, and a delight in the chaotic. The Cabaret Voltaire launched an age of questioning that made its international way into a variety of artistic forms from poetry and theatre to dance and sculpture.
