TRacer
*grumble grumble grumble* 3 way tie for horns *##### #### moan* The biggest thrill for me was when Rick South handed me the Ott trophy in the parking lot and said, "Here, you earned this...hold on to it on the bus ride back." The only thing better than cradling that trophy in my arms was cradling my newborn kid.

InspaDave
With this show SCV again showed themselves to be innovators with their percussion feature.
Lincoln
That wall of sound from the company front in The Promise of Living is still to this day, one of those most wonderful things I've ever heard done on the field. Every time I listen to it I get chills up and down my spine. Crown did a wonderful job with it in 2009 but Vanguard's version was the one that made me go out and buy a recording of it. What a shame the cameras on the broadcast kept focusing on pit members. I am particularly "fond" of camera angles looking up from the base of the tympani....as opposed to overhead shots of the corps.
