HornsUp
as the Casper Troopers were going into their exit....."Hey!!!! Drum judges, you can put your clip boards away... They ain't gonna play anymore...." For many decades, corps arrangers have used the term "Trooper drum part" to denote a section tacet. Ghost
The Crusaders marched in the inaugural parade for President Johnson in January of 65. Since the end of the previous season, Boston picked up new members from several corps. We slept in a church basement (I believe)the night before the parade. As everyone was finally quieting down, and before Ed Denon started snoring, one of the veteran 'Saders yells out, "Southie sucks."
bill
Comments heard in Drum Corps:............. Can you play "Wipe-Out"? What do they wear under their kilts? The "under the kilt" question? The standard answer if some guy asked was; "Your girlfriend's lipstick"; pretty much shut'em up fast......or started a fight.
