Stu
Right under .. or right over Jersy Surf Ummmm... that's just a little too much personal information to be placing on a public forum website.
Zeke
Color guard was late to the field, so they ran over-time I bet someones head rolled for that one
Michael Boo
What the heck did they do to get a 5.00 point penalty??? The guard showed up a few minutes after the corps took the field, which put the corps about 3.5 minutes overtime. When they got to the field, they didn't run...they just walked on. I don't think they realized what was really going on. The vibist that was providing the pre-show background music had to vamp for an extra few minutes. He is to be commended for keeping his composure.
HeWhoWaits
So, how would the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs do against the St. Louis Cardinals? How would the Albuquerque Isotopes do against the Texas Rangers? Inquiring minds interested in conjecture want to know! Poor analogy. The Iron Pigs would beat the Cardinals occasionally. The Isotopes would get a few wins against the Rangers if they played often enough. In sports, a "lesser" team can sometimes beat a "better" team. In Drum Corps (and other judged activities), the "lesser" performers will NEVER beat the "big-time" performers.
Donny Drum Corps
Watching on Fan Network, I could not believe how long it took for the guard to get there late and then non chalantly set up their gear like nothiong was wrong. 5 points was lenient. 5 points cost them 4-5 spots in any class. NYCFan
What is strange is that each corps reports/checks in with the chief judge a HALF HOUR before they are scheduled to perform. How could they not have been prepared? Inexcusable.

Oregon will most likely not score high enough to beat a top teir corps. But, they can be just or more entertaining then some of the top WC corps.
