TimbreDeBrass
One of the great things about allentown is that it is outside. A few years ago, before the Minneapolis regional came along, it was the ONLY outside regional location :).
kickhaltsforlife
Franklin Field has gone through renovations... but it is basically the same stadium as BITD. It is very much still there, and is still used often. Penn Relays, and of course it is UPenn's stadium. It's a busy stadium. And yes the Linc is still grass... that turns to mud by week 4 of the NFL season... they should go back to turf. The main reason it was decided to be grass was because of all the complaints about the Vet turf... which of course there has been much improvement with artificial turf since then. A DCI show would completely demolish that playing surface right now. It's a shame, because I think it would be a great stadium for a show and maybe championships sometime. But Franklin Field would be probably the best choice if you wanted to keep it in the same general area. I forget how parking is though. Probably as crappy as Allentown... and you'll have to pay for parking anywhere in the city...
