3rd Glasgow BB
How about Academy. Nice, dark sound. Could be a dark horse in 2013 for top 12. They're a dark horse every year......... 3rd Glasgow BB
I liked Colts last year, I'm a fan of the old school ballad style closer. SCVC I felt punched above their weight, very entertaining.
Michael Boo
I've long been captivated by the refined power of Blue Knights' horn line, and on a different level, the raw emotion of Boston Crusaders' line.
Nine White Russians
Madison and Spirit are NO WHERE NEAR those two brass lines. They're good, but when talking about 'best' those two are no where near the conversation: I think Scouts were almost 2 POINTS below 2nd place BD, with Spirit being around, what, 2.5 points behind second place BD!! That's good, but no where close to "best" horn lines! And as good as Blue Devils' hornlines have been technically, they are NO WHERE NEAR anything I would call melodic or entertaining...especially compared to Madison and Spirit! Catan
In recent years, BAC 2009-2012, very aggressive and raw, yet very refined at times (especially 2011 - very ballad heavy show). During the Gold years, the Gmen fielded some phenomenal lines. Loved Southwind 2000 (book and line) and Seattle Cascades 2002

Nine White Russians
I will throw into the mix Madison's 1995 hornline (3-way tied for high brass with BD and Cadets)!
Contra94
Pacific Crest came out with a strong hornline for 2012.
Corbin
I have liked a lot of the music from the crossmen over the years and although their playing is not always the best they have a raw sound that really makes their presence known to the audience.
