84BDsop
Mnozil Brass - Hungarian Schnapsodie Ok drum corps freaks & geeks....who could pull off this...specifically from 6:30 to the end. We can skip the schtick at 4:50 or so! I'm thinking Academy, Regiment, or Crown (oh yeah....Crown).
Crown Phan
Crown was the first to come to mind.
Michael Boo
I think parts of this Mnozil Brass arrangement of rock classics would be a hit as a corps encore.
maestro!
The new Jersey Surf, with a hint of Bridgemen/Velvet Knights would be a great group to pull something like that off, because you can add the cocky soloist into the humor of it
RockyGranite
I can see something like this being a good I&E performance, but the basis for a field show??? I think not.

Actually, I can see quite a bit of Mnozil's stuff on the field....depends on how you arrange it (particularly percussion) and do the drill. Whoever thought you could put Medea on the field? tubabeard42
This kind of thing and PDQ Bach would go very well together. As for a corps, Crown for pulling it off super-clean and Surf for the spirit/attitude/humor of it.
JamMan
Eh, I'm kind of tired seeing corps have to stand still to play this double/triple tonguing stuff. We're devolving back to concert performance-style because the music can't be played on the move. If the music can't be played on the move...don't play it! MOVE!
wvu80
Sam, Since you posted Mnozol Brass' "Blue" on a DCP thread about 2 months ago, their views went from 15,000 to well over 35,000. Can we safely assume that about 29,500 of those views are from you? Edited January 19, 2013 by wvu80

The drill I see in my head had a corps moving during the parts when Zoltan Kiss is strutting after his double-tonguing sequence.
